ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT Settings → Connectors (Apps) and enable Developer mode if you have not already.
  2. 2Click the button below to open the new-connector dialog with Travel Advisor pre-filled.
  3. 3Paste the MCP URL above into the URL field if it is not already filled.
  4. 4Review the details, check the safety confirmation, then click Create.
  5. 5Enable the connector from the chat composer and ask ChatGPT to use Travel Advisor.

Claude

  1. 1Click the button below to open Claude's custom connector dialog with the name and URL pre-filled.
  2. 2Review the connector details and click Add.
  3. 3If the form does not open automatically, go to Claude → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste the URL above.
  4. 4Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use Travel Advisor.

Claude Code

Run this command in your terminal to add Travel Advisor as a personal MCP server. No config-file editing is needed.

  1. 1Run the command above in a terminal.
  2. 2Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Travel Advisor is connected.
  3. 3Sign in when prompted, then ask Claude Code to use Travel Advisor.

Other MCP clients

  1. 1Open the client's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. 2Create a new remote MCP server connection.
  3. 3Name it Travel Advisor and paste the MCP URL above.
  4. 4Complete any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. 5Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use Travel Advisor.

Refresh after the app changes

AI assistants cache the tool list. After we update Travel Advisor, refresh the connector so the assistant sees the latest tools and capabilities.

ChatGPT

  • Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select Travel Advisor.
  • Scroll to Information and click Refresh.
  • If the URL changed, delete the app and reconnect with the new URL.

Claude

  • Open the Connectors page and select the Travel Advisor connector.
  • Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  • If the URL changed, remove and re-add the connector.

Claude Code

  • Start a new Claude Code session to load the latest tools.
  • If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove travel-advisor, then run the install command again.

Other clients

  • Open the MCP server or connector settings.
  • Select Travel Advisor and refresh or reload the tool list.
  • If the URL changed, paste the latest URL from above.
